Ramada Resort Dunsborough - Western Australia

Ramada Resort Dunsborough (formerly known as Wyndham Resort and Spa) is located in Margaret River region, approximately 2 1/2 hours drive from Perth. We booked through Agoda website and it was stated there that the room comes with breakfast for 2 person. However, when we checked in at Ramada Resort, we were told that breakfast was not included. The hotel front desk employee told us that the mistake was done by the online hotel reservation service and not them. They even added that we got a very good deal by booking online. Anyway, in order not to spoil our holiday mood we didn't make a big fuss about it.

We checked in at 4pm and our King room comes with a king size bed, individual air-conditioning with thermostat control (we didn't even on the air-cond because it's autumn and weather was cold), wall mounted TV with satellite channels and pay per view channels ($ 3 each), coffee or tea making facilities, mini fridge, microwave oven, cutlery set, toaster, sitting area, iron & ironing board, hairdryer and a private balcony. By the way, you need to pay for Wifi.

Both bedroom and bathroom were spacious. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was hot with moderate water pressure. Resort facilities includes swimming pool (water was cold!), tennis cum basketball court, children's playground and gym. Geographe Bay is just behind the resort. However, the condition of the beach may not be suitable for swimming. Overall it was a pleasant stay at Ramada Resort Dunsborough.

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. Jollibee is a Filipino multinational chain of fast food restaurants. On the day of arrival, we asked our friendly Grab driver what is the must-try food in Philippines and he mentioned Jollibee. So here we at Jollibee located inside Landmark Department Store just 4 minutes (250m) walking distance from  New World Makati Hotel . We ordered 2 pieces of chicken served with rice and drink. Rice is soft. Fried chicken is crispy, flavourful and tender. It comes together with a brown gravy which taste like KFC mashed potatoes gravy. Overall it's good. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay. Room type: a) Standard quad room b) Standard double room without balcony c) Standard double room with balcony d) Dormitory - 10 person e) Camping We stayed in a standard double room without balcony. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking Mount Kinabalu. Great view and you can slide the glass window to get some fresh air.
